ナガタユミ（nagata yumi 1986-）はアーティストとして以下のコンセプトのもと活動を行っている

『見立てるということ』
 

この考えは自身の中学時代、美術の授業から始まる。「これはリンゴであってリンゴではない」黒板にチョークで書かれたリンゴを指して先生が言った。見えているもの全て幻想なのかもしれない。では事実はどこにあるのだろうか。日常の生活と幻想の境目を行ったり来たりしながら作品が生まれる。また、油絵の具の発色の美しさが作品の重要な要素の一つである。小学校低学年で出会った油絵に感じた魅力は色であり、今もその美しさに魅了され続けている。日常からモチーフを選び、日常の結晶を標本化するような半立体作品やコラージュによる妄想と現実が入り交じった視覚芸術作品を制作している。現実と虚像を描く。

This idea began in her junior high school art class. This is an apple, not an apple," the teacher said, pointing to a chalked apple on the blackboard. Everything you see may be an illusion. Then where are the facts? The works of art are created while moving back and forth between the boundary of everyday life and illusion. Another important element of his works is the beautiful coloring of oil paints. The color is what attracted me to oil painting when I first encountered it in early elementary school, and I continue to be fascinated by its beauty to this day. He selects motifs from everyday life and creates semi-3-dimensional works that are specimens of crystallized everyday life, as well as visual art works that are a mixture of fantasy and reality through collage. He depicts the real and the imaginary.

1986年千葉県生まれ　2008年多摩美術大学絵画学科油画専攻卒業　中学高校教員免許取得/2022年更新済　2008年〜2017年中学高校美術講師勤務　現在は千葉県で子育てをしながら、独特の色彩質感で半立体作品のテクスチャーコラージュ制作を行なっている。東京中心に国内外個展グループ展多数。見立てることをテーマにしたワークショップ、図工教室講師、絵画教室アドバイザーとしても活動の場を広げている。

Born in Chiba, Japan in 1986, graduated from Tama Art University in 2008 with a major in oil painting. Obtained a teaching license for middle and high school and updated it in 2022. From 2008 to 2017, worked as an art teacher for middle and high schools. Currently, while raising children in Chiba, creates semi-three-dimensional texture collages with a unique color sense. Has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Tokyo and abroad. Also active as a workshop facilitator, art adviser for painting classes, and advisor for drawing classes.
